The Theatre National de Strasbourg (TNS) was originally founded in 1968 as the Centre Dramatique de l'Est. The theatre now boasts three auditoriums: Bernard-Marie Koltès, Hubert Gignoux and Studio Kablé. TNS produces and co-produces many performances each year. In addition, some guest presentations are featured as well. Most performances are in french, however some are also in other languages.
